My experiment was successful. I sent in the registration card I got with my purchase of a used 2007 Navitimer World, and Breitling USA sent me a hat. It took about 33 days from mailing to receipt of hat.

Was it blank when you got it? If so what date did you put on it?

It was blank, and I contacted Tourneau corporate sales to get the correct date of delivery, which I used.

Nice! Does the same apply for Canada..?? I know that the official distributor is Grigoros. I purchased my first ling off another member of BS (originally purchased from BUSA) Can/Should I re-register this to me here in Canada? I know I won't (or highly doubt) get a hat or anything but just for warranty/any other purposes?

Not a clue. But if you got the original registration card, as I did, you can run your own experiment.

Nope. They give the swag to the local AD to give out as they see fit.

If he's got the original card, it would be addressed to BUSA; he could try it. Might it work with a Canadian address?

Yeah it should. I missed BUSA and stopped reading at Canada.

Btw, I don't see any registration cards with my Breitling purchases!
Perhaps AD has already sent it!?

It's black (or really dark blue, hard to tell) with the white logo on the front.

Maybe your AD took care of it for you; how long ago did you buy? If you mention the AD name, maybe someone knows if that's their policy.

The AD is supposed to remove it from the documents, fill it out, and send it in. It triggers swag, but more importantly places you, the serial #, and date of purchase in BUSA's database - no issues about the warranty time.

It's the one every attendee to the Breitling Sion Air Show got upon entrance last September.
