After looking at Navitimer for years, my darling wife has finally let me buy one for Christmas. It is the older 41.8 mm model D23322. I have been waiting last few weeks for it to arrive from Breitling Switzerland, so I assume it is one of the last fews to be produced. I was expecting the one with gold subdials, white face with batons and brown leather strap. Instead it has black face with Arabic letters and silver subdials on a black leather strap. It has the gold bezel and hands. I actually like it more than I thought but wonder what people think? :lingsrock:

I live the Navitimer series. They're gorgeous. My fiancee said the same to me about the Super Avenger. I've got one black face/subs with batons. No pics yet, it's being held hostage by my fiancee until we get married. she's counting down the days to the wedding, I'm counting down the days till I get to wear my 'ling. Navitimer's are class all the way. Enjoy it!!

I think all of the Navis are beautiful but I personally like this one better than the one you were expecting; it's closer to the classic Navi ideal. Enjoy!

A far cry from one of my first watches, which is also a breitling.
I remembered the joy and excitement of wearing it, and also the pain of paying it off.
Thought I lost it and found it when my darling wife told me to clean out my study.
I suppose the saying no pain, no gain still holds true.
I am saddened by the fact that it does not see much wrist action any more.
Hope it does not happen with my new Navitimer.
Am I alone?

Very very nice.
I would be very happy with that one.
Did you actually ask the AD to specify the baton model or did you just order a navi?
Again you did very well. :D

It was actually a sale item from my local AD. Bought a Jeager Lecoutre at the same time (Lucky me), which was my primary purchase. Could not pass on the Navitimer so decided to go ahead over the phone. Been waiting for the last few weeks for it to arrive. Didn't turn out too badly at the end. I think I actually prefer it! The down side is my wallet is feeling the pinch.
