Let the watch talk :lingsrock:

2:00am, someone breaks into your house, reach for the watch.....

In my life....I have had a friend killed by his best friend who was showing his X-mass
present to two other guys two rooms away.
My brothers girlfriend walked into her fathers bedroom in time to see an empty gun blow her dads head off.
Four years later this sweet girl took her own life.
I am a combat vet. and have killed many people...More than you can probably imagine, more than I wish to remember.
When that person enters your house...CALL 911 :popo:

All your examples show that careless people were the problem, not the gun. I could make the same example for automobiles.
I've also had friends take thier own lives, and guns weren't the problem.

Interesting that as a Vet you were able to defend yourself, but now we should all call 911.
Fortunately this young woman had more than a watch. http://1037litefm.radio.com/2012/01/05/ ... nfant-son/

the Browning Auto 5 is quite common (John Moses Browning design and the first semi automatic shotgun...it is inertia operated so it can kick but it is supremely reliable and they still make it from time to time today)...but this one was your Dad's...keep the shotgun...

When my Dad passed in 1995, I inherited his Stevens shotgun...I joined a Forum to learn about it as I could find nothing of it on the web...someone told me, "Those shotguns are a dime a dozen...maybe worth $50 bucks."...I replied to him, I don't care what it's worth, it was my Dad's...it sits in the back of my Gun safe...and I just take it out to admire it, wipe it down and place it back...cherish yours.

Bill

Keep the gun. It'a a quality piece that will go up in value. You don't have to kill anything to enjoy guns. It will also mean more to you down the road.

:yeahthat

i think that you might really regeret it one day especially when your dad is no longer around. JMO
