Nor would I expect that you are planning on duffing your 5 iron into the ground every time you play it (at least I hope not sharkman) :D .

Depends on the course - it's always the course's fault.

Did he do that? I thought he handed the guy $200 or something like that.

No sharkman, it's never the course. It's always the caddies fault.
Have you seen the size of the tips these guys get from the pros?
10% of the prize money if the golfer wins.
That would buy a few nice Lings !!

I'm pretty sure I remember Sports Center making a big deal of him taking off his Rolex and handing it to the guy.

I live in the desert. We have plenty of rocks lurking just beneath the lush turf and "rough" that is really barren desert caliche. Once a round? At least.

Ouch, I once played on a desert course out in Saudi - an experience I shall never forget and I am so glad I hired the clubs for that round :D . There was no grass, you carried a piece of astro turf for the round - if you landed on the fairway, you put your ball on the astro turf and played off that. If you landed in the rough :wowzers , you had to play the ball where it lay. The greens in actual fact were browns :? - smooth sand sprayed with some kind of binding oil stuff. An interesting experience.

Oh goodness! The courses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area of Arizona are some of the finest. But many are "target" courses - a worm burner might not make the fairway etc... But there is a penchant for unspoiled desert "rough." and it is a good idea to keep an eye out for rattle snakes.

And there was the OP who was worried about his automatic 'Ling taking a beating if he duffed his club into the ground - I'd be more worried about Rattlesnakes :wowzers

The American golfer Bubba Watson, a self-taught man that is emerging as one of the best players of his generation, joined the team of Richard Mille sports in early 2011. In its tournaments, he tests under real conditions a tourbillon designed specifically for him, the RM 038 à remontage manuel. Lightweight and comfortable, it makes use of material selection techniques that can withstand the extreme conditions of the game: WE54 magnesium-treated Miarox for the case, grade 5 titanium for the plate and the bridges of the movement.
