Hi

I got my son a colt chrono around 18 months ago. We are currently holidying in Florida and he returned from a day at Discovery cove yesterday with a misted up face. He'd only been diving at around 15 feet, but Ii'm guessing the seal is damaged. It seemed to clear up last night but clouded up again today in the heat. Has anyone had a similar experience. I guess the answer is to return to Breitling, any idea of thr costs involved?

many thanks in advance

Have it looked at right away. There is moisture in the watch. It could be a seal or it's possible the chrono pusher was accidently activated under water.

:yeahthat The longer you leave it, the worse the damage will be as the moisture will start to corrode the movement.

Guys
Thanks for your support. The watch was returned to Breitling wino have confirmed that the seal is intact and any damage is therefore deemed accidental. They have recommended a full service at £300 plus they also suggest a new dial at £175 which they say will corrode over time.. My son is insistent that the crown was fully screwed down etc but I guess at the end of the day nothin can be proved. Ouch
