Heartfelt congratulations! At least on those sleepless nights, you will also have the Blackbird to enjoy! That has got to be one of the very top models Breitlings produces. My AD always refers to it as a "special edition" and indeed it is. The faceted Pilot bracelet alone, is unique to the model and a work of art in itself. The large date looks wonderful with the black background to match the dial. The back is unique to the model. I believe, other than the Bentley 6.75, it is the only Breitlng with the B44 movement. Above all, the watch has an amazing fit and feel on the wrist. I think it will be my next Breitling, in just over a year when I turn 60. I have a Steelfish and a Blacksteel, but the Blackbird always catches my eye. I think with that model, I would consider my collection complete. What do you think of the new one with polished case and bracelet? I haven't seen one yet, but apparently the brushed model will still be available.
Congratulations!
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks guys. So far our little girl is behaving quite well. Very quiet and peaceful. She hasn't really discovered her voice yet. We have a 2-year old already and he loves to help change the nappies. He also insists on deciding which clothes his little sister should wear.

I thought the Blackbird would go to my son eventually. Now I have to find a nice lady's Breitling for her. :D

I have not seen the polished version in real life yet but I am quite happy with the brushed look. I think it also suits this watch more. The bracelet is definitely one of my favourite parts of this watch.
