no, Bill, you are not. and, for the life of me, neither did I ever understand why this should be a "Chronomat" ?

in original Breitlinspeak it would have been a "Chrono-matic", the origin of the 1941/1942 sliderule Chronomat name was chronograph & mathematics, I would assume, not foreseing the advent of the automatic chronographs 25 years later ?

I would agree with that but the watch has a dial/hand set from a 93/94 13048 which were presumably changed during a service.
