Not familiar with Messina Jewellers, but that (to me unreadable) mark looks a lot like a fake site's 'watermark'

It's Messina Jewelers's mark. It's hard to read in that pic, but I've seen it enough times I can recognize it. They're selling that watch for $6k on their website, so if it's a fake, they're sure not representing it as one. The same goes for a lot of other pieces they sell. They have a b&m showroom in Miami, so it seems they're similar to the European Watch Company in Boston, who specialize in aftermarket sales of luxury watches.

Looking more closely at the Blackbird in this thread, I'm inclined to agree with Tom. The dial looks real enough; it just seems like the watch has been heavily customized.

Concur. I think it was sent to "blackout" or whatever that company is that PVD's Rolexes, etc.

That's what I think. That vendor's site quite a few blackout Rolex for sale. Guess it takes all kinds. I would love to see the face of the BUSA employee if it was sent in for service.

since this is a costum pvd/dlc when they assembled the riders in the bezel, they put them in the wrong position, the rider whit the pearl should be in the current West rider position, loool

still dont quite understand why it has a red chrono hands of the red strike on the normal dial

anyway looks real parts inside

Good call. I hadn't noticed that. Not only is it a standard dial, but the date wheels are standard, too. So the custom work is not limited to the outside. Unauthorized hands have been messing with the guts, as well.
