great idea. if we can have this kind of "name and shame" page i think that it would be good for all current and future members. Just out of curiousity (this is a question for the mods) is it possible to get the IP's of these types of people and cross check them to address and possibly phone numbers? if we are going to do this lets out right blow their cover. i hate the idea of a noob getting ripped off, this kind of stuff just pisses me off.

I hate that too, but without giving it much thought I can think of at least 10 potential legal liabilities for admin in listing some of that info.

As it's been stated, one thing I really like about this forum is that our moderators, contributors, and members, aggressively go after the scammers. You guys are experts in spotting fakers and phishers. As always, the "buyer beware" rule must be followed. Just this week I bought a watch from a new member with almost zero posts. After we pm'd eachother, we spoke on the phone and I got a good idea he was legit. He had the answers I was looking for, and we made a deal. I used papypal, which is pretty good for protecting yourself and everything went fine. He sent the watch right away, and it's on my wrist now. But I have seen several attempts here to scam people and you guys are doing great at stopping and banning them. Thanks!!
