Hi,

Just bought a Navitimer with a black face and black croc strap. Really love the combination of them

I'm considering on buying a SS bracelet. I had a navitimer on with the 'original' navitimer bracelet at the jewelstore. I thought it was kind of bling bling -ish (maybe due to the lighting in the store?). Recently Breitling has introduced the air racer bracelet i believe. It looks kinda cool i think (however i saw a pic of a girl wearing a navitimer with the air racer bracelet, so it got a bit less cool :) ). The Jeweler didn't have the air racer in store, so i couldn't compare the bracelets.

Any of you have ( had ) experience with the air racer bracelet? The 2 parts are each made of 1 solid piece i believe, so it might not be very comfortable to wear?

I've never personally tried on the Air Racer, but I've heard from those who have that it's surprisingly comfortable to wear. However, I don't personally care for the look of it. Thus, I'd go with the Navi bracelet.

The Navitimer bracelet is incredibly comfortable and looks fantastic IMO. The Air Racer may well be comfortable as well, but it's a very polarising design so for that reason alone I'd personally steer clear. (As it happens I also think the Air Racer bracelet is truly hideous but that's just my opinion).

This topic has been dead for almost a week, but I wanted to comment because I just wore my Navitimer on its standard SS bracelet for the first time this weekend, and I have to say it looks absolutely stunning. I purchased it new (with both gold croc on deploy and SS), but it's been on croc only until this past weekend. But I decided to put it on SS since I was wearing more formal wear and it looked like a totally different watch. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great too on croc, but it felt like a different class of watch on SS; maybe it's just me. But I can say I received more looks and compliments on it this past weekend than the whole time it's been on the croc strap. I don't think you can go wrong with this bracelet. So I just wanted to share that.

IMO, the air racer bracelet has more of a "look at me and the funky bracelet I'm wearing" quality to, and that's not why I wear watches.

I had some good advice on this before Christmas. The air racer bracelet does divide opinion. If you are going to keep it, fine. If you were going to rewet further down the road, may be not the best option. Agree with comments re SS bracelet above. They do look stunning.
