Hi all

Only a few posts below we again hit the insurance debate.

I have all my watches under the value of £2500 on my standard household insurance policy, I then have to list the models of those over that value....given the rise in the general cost of Breitlings I may need to review some of my list!

I lost my B1 2 weeks ago. So I informed the police and my insurance company.

I had a quite in depth and questioning telephone conversation with a representative from the company Ival who do the groundwork for my home insurance company Barclays.

I had a call yesterday, from Ival saying the claim had been processed, and agreed. They suggested that as the B1 was now discontinued I should have an Airwolf Raven as a replacement.

After pointing out the differences, I'm settling for a NOS B1 from Andrew Michaels.

This is being delivered next Saturday as I'm away for the week. Thanks Sam!

I, for one, would suggest insurance may seem expensive, but may one day prove it's worth.

Pics to follow of course.....

Davey

Glad that it worked out for you in the end Davey, and couldn't agree more that insurance makes sense.
