Hi All,

I am new to the board and did a quick search on the Diamond District in NYC and didn't come up with much. Does anyone have any dealer they had good experience with there? I am looking for a Navitimer and since I'm close by, I wanted to check the kind of pricing I can get on 47th before going with an AD.

Thanks in advance.

I've been there before but before I got serious about watches. As far as diamonds are concerned, unless you really know your stuff, I felt like they were ready to take advantage of the buyers. For example, they told me they were giving me the lowest price anywhere. As I walked out they ran after me ( out the door) and reduced it tremendously. Really shady. I'm sure if you walk in with authority and lots of knowledge things may be different.

There's a few ADs in the area that I'm sure people here can recommend, but not specifically in the diamond district.

Thanks Peter. I know how awful it is over there and you can certainly walk out of the "tunnel" between 5th and 6th feeling like you need a shower. I guess that was why I hoping someone here may have actually managed to have a good experience with a dealer over there.

If you are near the diamond destrict why don't you just go to breitlings new store that is only a few blocks away? IMO, much better off to spend the couple extra dollars and get an authorized piece.

Contact member "FEAR" and he will go out of his way to help you. Great guy to deal with.

My 2 cents, buy from an AD and buy out of State (no taxes).
