I am finding I really like the design of the new GMT Bentley, altough am not too sure about the strap integration. As I am likely to only buy one watch for the near future, this may be a deal breaker for me. Definately want to be able to put a strap on the one I do pick up once in a while. Would have to see it in person I guess. But any ideas on price for the steel version yet?

No ideas on prices I'm afraid, but I'm kind of starting to agree with you about the integrated bracelet and the asymetrical lug design. I'll definitely have to see it in the flesh/metal.

Bit of a shame really as after the initial flurry of "wow-like" comments, I'm starting to wonder if any of the new 2008 models are really appealing to me. Skyland Chrono - too much like the M1 and quartz, Cockpit - too small and plain for me, Bentley GMT - as stated above the asymetrical lugs have still to grow on me, Chrono-matic - great size but what's with the rubber bezel? Basically the only one that appeals is the SuperOcean Heritage Chrono..... and that needs to be on a leather or croco strap.

I think the new Bentley GMT looks incredible on a bracelet, on a strap - not so much.

None of the others do it for me, though the revamped Cockpits are quite nice. Not in the market though as I already have his and hers Cockpits.

I kind of agree with Driver. I like the new Bentley, but much more in it's rose gold version. That also means it's not likely to be bought this year - there are other thing that top the list. Apart from the GMT Bentley, I can only say that Basel news wasn't really what I had my hopes on - but I hope next year will be more exciting.

I like the new GMT also. As for pricing I am guessing it should be about the same prices as the 6.75, Motors range but maybe a bit more since they are increasing the prices soon. $8800 USD ??
