But with a treatment.

Sharky commented most kindly on the Croc on my BB (winter attire).

What I did was (and it may not be to everyones taste, and these are quite expensive I know but I like the result)

Olive oil, applied sparingly via little finger or cotton bud thingy avoiding the stitches.

Here is a before and after comp, wadda you think? (pics pony sorry)

and here in situ.

Looks very nice and it probably tastes good, if you're into that kind of thing.

Looks good Alan.

Not thought about using olive oil myself as I personally I use Autoglym Leather Cleaner, followed by Autoglym Leather Care Cream for giving old straps a new lease of life. Both are great as they are designed to replace essential oils in car seat leather which gets seriously baked in the sun, as well as cleaning it at the same time. (And before anyone asks, no I don't have any before and after pics at the mo. Next time I use it, I'll take a couple).

(Disclaimer - Autoglym has worked OK for me, but I'm not guaranteeing it will for everyone. Use on your own straps entirely at your own risk!)
