I'm a little confused here. I thought guys on this forum were really big fans of the BlackSteel. Now it sounds the complete opposite. Why? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

the word is (from a reliable source) that there will be a dlc bentley GMT released at Basel. The black steel is cool, but the horse has been beat a little too hard..

Personally I've never been a fan.

I thought the first LE Blacksteel Avenger Skyland was a cool enough looking piece, but I've always hated surface coatings. No matter how tough they are, they can get damaged and when they do you are left with something that you can't polish out or repair unless you have the entire case stripped back and re-DLC'd..... and, funnily enough, that's not a DIY job! But like I say, I liked the look of the original BS AS......

But now we're up to 3 BS models already, with (apparently) a BS Avenger Skyland Superquartz AND a BS Blackbird on the way, so that takes it to 5. AND if one of the above posts is correct, there'll be a DLC Bentley on the way too! So that's 6 models.

One was enough : two was too many IMO. SIX? Well..........

As Driver8 says you can have too much. As a one off I think it made a nice change, but we don't need every single model to be DLC'd.

Haven't heard of that one. Are you sure it was not the Avenger Seawolf Chrono blacksteel?

I believe it was.
Making a ASBS SQ along with SWCBS would be a really dumb idea from Breitling.

I completely agree. I like the look, but I doubt the durability.

Peace
