hello
what are you thinking about this model?
looks nice but from some reason didnt see it a lot here like the other models.
is it because its expensive or just people dont like the design?
after all it has really quality movement and all...
please share.

A few people have asked this before, and the general concensus seems to be down to two issues -

Firstly it's pretty expensive, and secondly it's just not one of the big chunky "hey look at me" pieces that tends to attract new buyers to Breitling these days......., unlike the SA or the AS for example.

Personally I really like the Skyracer, and those who own them only have good things to say about them. It's quite an understated piece by these day's standards, and the movement also makes a nice change from the ubiquitous B13 as well.

The Skyracer is cool - I really like the radiating pattern on the dial, and the movement is not common.

If you like it, you should get one!

Certain models are quite low sellers, but have a core following. The Bentley GT (the proper old one with the silver sub dials, not the new upholstery dialed monstrosity) is bit like that – I doubt they have sold 10% of the numbers of Motors & 6.75s. But for some people they’re the pick of the Bentley range.

Given the huge increase in Breitling sales over the last decade, it’s actually the quite achievers of the brand which retain a level of exclusivity. SAs and the like may get the limelight, but they represent the cruder design traits of the brand.

I really like it too, but I do feel that it is lower value for money than some of Breitling's other offerings.
