Hi everyone,

Saw a picture of this watch while looking at pictures of Breitling 2001, which is odd because its not a 2001. I’ve been looking for the watch and have found one with a red tachymeter and metal Breitling B above the Breitling. Is this watch below a redial? Any idea what model it is. I like the look. Mix of classy and sporty.

Thank you!

assume its an 1190. Its from Italy of course which it is one of the global centres of redials, but I think it looks genuine. I normally look to the print quality as Breitling dials are always really good, and this looks fine to me.

Thank you for the response. I didn’t know italy was known for redials. Interesting. I was looking really carefully at the printing and font and it looked excellent. Except for the cursive B above breitling seemingly being off centered to the left. The dial being so clean and without any blemishes made lean toward redial. Also me not being able to find the exact dial while searching. The dials I’ve seen online have red/blue tachymeters or say incabloc on the dial.

There seem to loads of variations though. To me it looks fine and quite minty, but I’m not trying to match it to a catalogue example.

Arcadelt I saw those 2 posts in my hunt for something similar. The post by watchfred doesn’t include pictures of this watch and he knows a lot. Buddman also knows a lot. If it is a redial, whoever did it did an excellent job.

While it is not certain, it is likely the one in the picture I posted is @Watchfred's.

Thank you for all the replies. Great news. Any reason why the B is so off centered?
