Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the correct lug width for a Breitling Long Playing 815. Multiple websites say different lug widths. Some say 18mm, some say 19mm, and one says 20mm (analogshift).

Also any suggestions on a nice strap for these watches? I think black will look nice.

The lug width is 19mm (slightly awkward size!). 18mm is a little loose, 19mm is snug. 20mm way too tight.



Personally I like the vintage brown distressed look but straps are a very individual issue.

all (I think) Top Time lugs are 19mm (815 not officially a Top Time, but you know what I mean). 810, 20xx, all 19mm

Stainless steel. The distressed brown does look nice. Now that I know the lug width I can narrow my search. I don’t own the watch yet! Members of this forum have been kind enough to guide me through my search and a member even offered me one from his own collection.

Donmenzies. You have 2 Breitling 815? That’s cool! Why does the one with the Brown strap have the words “swiss” and “made” cut off? Never seen that before.
