Need some help here. I own this Breitling Cadette. From the serial number I can see that it was made in 1953 and is a model 1188. I cannot find this watch face when I search on Google, any ideas why?
Some history on this watch - It was my Grandfather's (He passed in 1970). We found it when we were cleaning out my Grandmother's house in the 1990's. At the time it was not running and I took it to a Breitling dealer for a new main spring. I don't have any pictures of the movement, I'm afraid to open it.
Because of the history I'm pretty sure it is genuine but I don't know why I can't find the same face on the internet.
thanks for any help.
