I just bought a Chrono Avenger with the black dial and the UTC for a great price on Ebay with box and papers in excellent condition!! I can't wait for my new piece. I will post pics as soon as I can. Any other owners on this model happy with their purchase?

Wow Matt, seems like your on a tear lately. Don't own a CA but definitely one of my favorite dial designs. Just a little too large (thickness) I'm afraid for me, but would like to hear how you find the fit.

UTC bracelet too, bonus - congrats!

I had a nice collection, sadly a lot of my pieces were swindled by my ex, and the divorce ended with no return in my favor. Lost 11 pieces in that deal. Then I had a burglary at my house last year and lost 5 more watches.. Not a good last couple years. So I'm starting to slowly grow my collection back up. The only Breitling I've owned was a SOH Chrono in blue with the mesh bracelet. I loved the fit and finish of that watch. Other than that its mainly been Oris, Baume, Tags and a couple Omegas. I had the Seamaster Vancouver edition with the white and red dial.
Now that I'm starting over I like to stick to mainly one company and IMO, noone does it better than Breitling. Not a fan of the newer models but I love most of what they've done in the past. I think my next piece will be a Navi. Also need to invest in a good safe..

its the best everyday breitling, for me one of breitling finest

love mine, and from all the watches i own the CA takes the most wrist time, i bought this in 2010 and from what breitling told me this was the last CA to leave the factory, production stopped in 2007 but they had stock until 2010 , still in factory warranty heheeh

The CA is great. I'm wearing mine right now on an Isofrane strap. It's incredibly readable, yet also a chrono.

I love the CA, black dial a must. One if these days I'll pull the trigger. Prolly wear it mostly on a brown calf. Then I can pretend I'm a diamond smuggler.

Matt,
congrats on a superb watch! Especially the fact that you got a UTC with it. Those are a rare find. I bought my CA in 2007, and have worn it more than any watch in my collection. Until my recent Sub purchase, it was on my wrist almost everyday. I still wear it a few times per week and is such a comfortable yet rugged piece. Looks great on leather and rubber straps as well. If you ever want to part with that UTC let me know, lol. Congrats and wear it in good health.

Don

I absolutely love this watch. This is what made me want to own a Breitling and only 5 or 6 years ago practically all Bs looked this good and the choice was a very hard one, Chrono Avenger, M1, Steelfish, ,Emergency, Ti Seawolf, even the GMT, and Colts were contenders.
What have you done Breitling, a visit to an AD now leaves a very different impression.

This beauty is still in the rotation. Breitling had a winner with this one. Why they ever discontinued this model is anyone's guess.
