First I need to thank my lovely wife. She is the one who got many of these watches for me.

First up is my favorite, the flying B.. I kinda freaked out when she got it for me for a gift. But it's all good now.

Next is the Blue Angels Montbrillant. This one was acquired from a Japanese collector. I got it off e-bay for a great price because the dial was a bit discolored. I trip to BUSA and a few hundred bucks, now it's brilliant again.

Next we have the Emergency 18K. I just received this watch. It came from a guy who purchased it in France and now lives in the US. He was listing it on e-bay with the description of "watch", had a feedback rating of 1 and a price of 9.5K. After a few calls to him he sent me pictures of the watch and scans of all his paperwork. He religiously sent it to Breitling for service.

I was shocked at the condition of the watch, just a bit of cleaning and a light polish with a cloth and it looks like new. It is figiting hard for wrist time. It's very heavy, almost too heavy!

This watch was purchased by the wife, she wanted one we could share. Who am I to argue!

MR B-1 was another e-bay purchase. I kept watching for a cheap B1 SQ and finally got it for a bit over 1 K. It needed a cleaning and polish but turned out great. This is what I wear most.
Image

This was another e-bay purchase.. I always liked this dial and picked this one up fairly cheap at 850 bucks. The lume was falling off the hands so I had it replaced by the local AD. She looks much better now.
Image

This was my first B and as you can guess it came off e-bay. It was my daily wearer for years till I got the B-1. I still wear it from time to time. I am amazed how light it is!

The wife wanted in on the action so we got her this from the AD.

A few of my other favorite non B watches:

This watch belonged to a friend of mine. His dad bought it on the day he found out he was going to be a father in 1964 and has since passed away. He wanted to sell it on e-bay but I could not let him do it. Fo you omega fans this is a cal 321 seamaster with a screwback in 18K. I have never seen another one just like it.
Image

This was another e-bay purchase.. The camera can not do this watch justice. The dial is absolutely amazing.

The wife picked this up as a surprise!

This one too!

What to hunt for next?????????????

Beautiful collection. I think you've single-handedly kept a couple of gold mines in business with those first few!

Love that skeleton Corum Bubble too.

That is an awesome collection...I am jealous!

You have some really beautiful watches there and a very generous wife (mine is too, but we do not have the funds to afford all of those)!!

fantastic collection! Really nice set of pics also. That gold Emergency is very intriguing, almost too gold! :) Thanks for posting.

I have been wearing the emergency all day and it's growing on me. I don't know if I could wear it every day.

I could wear the flying B every day but I am afraid to mess it up.
