So I’m looking at trading my GMT II for a large Cartier Santos 100 (for me), a medium Cartier Santos 100 (for my wife), and a Bell & Ross BR03-92 CE MIL (me again).

I bought the GMT used for under retail over 10 years ago.

That's certainly not a trade I'd be doing in a million years as IMO the GMT is an infinitely "better" and more versatile watch than any Santos or B&R..., but ultimately it's not about what I'd do.

If you aren't wearing the GMT and you want 3 watches for the price of 1, then go for it.

Made the trade and couldn’t be happier. Maybe I’ll get back into Rolex when the bubble bursts and I can get one below retail… until then, why pay for the hype for a mass produced watch built on an assembly line.

Besides, Santos has the best story and heritage of any watch.

Quick update… after the prices came down I secured a “new” black bezel for under retail!

Sometimes, you can have it all
