Hi all.

I was wondering if I could get some help?
Today I was offered a Breitling 2916, but the case back has no SN on it, and the interior of the caseback doesn't either.
I've attached the photos that I was sent of the dial, movement, and close up of the dial.

The asking price is $300.

Any thoughts or concerns are appreciated.

Just for educational purposes, can I ask what the giveaways are?

Where would a good place be for me to start, or what is a good model to start with?
Thank you!

I have received a message and after a bit more research that it is likely a Frankensteined 2914.

The movement is indeed a FEF 350 and everything else matches the 2914's available elsewhere.
The SN inside he said wasnt there is 818100 which is correct for non chronograph models in this range.
Likely someone grabbed a 2916 case back and put it on the 2914.
