I purchased a used Chronomat from TrueFacet.com which sure does appear to have a well vetted out process for the resale of luxury watches. I have owned a similar model before and this definitely has the look and feel of the real deal. I am not happy with the band that came with it, and upon further review it does not have a Breitling Stamp or name on the inside of the band. It says acierinox, and I am not confident of what that means or implies. I can stand buying a new band but since it does not say breitling like my one i purchased new at Bachendorfs, I am worried they may be screwing me. Attached are pictures. Am I right to be worried? I have ready about how to spot a fake and I have owned but real and fake and this sure feels real but the different band concerns me.

I am having trouble uploading images, so I added a few photos to my Google Drive. If anyone wants me to upload any other photos I would be happy to. Thank you all in advance for any insight. I just want to make sure the watch is real. I can live with they selling me a used watch with a replacement band. I got a good price imo compared to a new one.

Acier inox just means stainless steel. The watch head appears genuine but the picture doesn't really show enough of the bracelet. It does sort of look like a Breitling Rouleaux bracelet but can't really tell for sure. Just Google Breitling Rouleaux bracelet and see if it looks like what you have. Often the Breitling name on these bracelets is worn off and I don't think some early versions had the name at all. If it does it will be one of the ends of the clasp.

Thank you for the info. The google search you suggested did turn up bracelet's that look exactly like mine, which gives me some relief. I am not able to find the word Breitling on it but it is scuffed up a little being stainless steel.

I still may look for a replacement that looks like the bracelet on my prior watch which I sold years ago. I am wanting to replace that for sentimental reasons. I came across this site while playing around on this message board. I like this band, but I am not sure if it would fit my model watch. I will try doing some research but clearly this is not an area of expertise for me.

The only two bracelets available for your Chronomat were the Rouleaux and the Pilot bracelet, which is probably what you had before. I've always like the Rouleaux on the Chronomat. Gives it a real chunky feel.

Thank you for your comments. I was able to see on the end of the bracelet where is says Breitling, albeit very worn through to where it is almost unnoticeable. Thankfully between the comments above and my finding that, I am now confident it is authentic.

I was looking up Pilot bracelets online and it looks like it may cost me upwards of $1,000 to $1,500 to buy a real breitling one, so if that is the case I may learn to have this Rouleux bracelet grow on me :)
