Who bids for such a partly hand painted dial?

The early yachting dials looked that way

Very intrigued by this. So the right-side minute register moves counterclockwise, and in 30-second increments? What movement does this use?

René, so that's the reason why it ended so high. Never seen a 765/7650 with that dial. I had never expected that Breitling used overpainted Lume, looks unprofessional.. .

There are a couple of other examples of this dial online that you can see the lume was overpainted however this particular 15 minute register looks like, to me, it's been altered or touched up. The lines are quite a bit thicker than other dials I've seen with the same yachting colors.

The right side register does not run counter clockwise. The Venus 178 just has a different gear for 15 minutes vs 30 minutes.

IMO the early Yachtings were all hand painted / altered ,

here are 2 other examples , they are all a little bit different from each other , paint faded etc but if you ask me all done by hand

I have not doubts however about its authenticity (too bad I didnt win though , it would have been for the perhaps box)
