Hi guys!

I'm considering a vintage Breitling that's for sale on a local watch forum. Unfortunately I'm not very used to Breitling as a brand as I have tiny wrists ( ) so I'm mostly into other brands..
But I really like this vintage piece that is around 36mm, pictures below.

Could you please take a look and inform me about your thougts about it? I'm interested in everything from model, movement, if it's real etc. Any information is helpful.

Oh, it's apparently in need of a service as the chrono function won't run properly. The seconds hand stops.

Very nice indeed, you don't see too many of those around. Well worth the TLC to get it running properly again.

Any idea what would be a right price for it, assuming that it was already serviced? (That way I could subtract what the service costs around here..)

They aren't immensely valuable - $750 - $1,250 depending on condition, service history, etc. The box should add a little to that value. The seller has to be prepared to sell for a reasonable price because the repair costs are uncertain at this point.

Thanks a lot Roffensian, it's not the first time you help me out when drooling over a vintage Breitling. Maybe this will be the one for me?
