Post subject:  Should my Skyland have come with a plastic bezel protector?

I've seen alot of watches come with those clear plastic bezel protectors. Since mine was bought new from an AD, should it have come with one? It did not, that's why I'm wondering.
Thanks guys!

Technically it should, but a lot of the time it doesnt for whatever reason. Ive bought 3 B's and never gotten one.

Some of mine have, while some haven't. Some AD's tend to discard them, while others will leave it all there. Grey market ones tend to come with them for some reason.

I have bought five B´s new from AD´s and never seen one... maybe it is a regional thing?

I can tell you my AD was very upfront about this particular subject. I was tempted to purchase a Cosmonaute from the in-store stock or my eventual purchase, a TT - Chrono which needed to be ordered. She made a point that due to a previous customer request the protector was removed to show the detail on the dials. She noted that if ordered it would come with the protector intact which in fact it did. When I arrived to pick it up while she had everything prepared and all paperwork completed, she handled it like a grand opening for the first time, and yes it had the protective film. Film or not I noticed the care good AD's take with their 'babies' so I would not feel uncomfortable at all.

MY ASBS came with one....I think its a waste; rubbed the wrong way on a polished watch (SA for example)
and beleive it or not, it might even scratch it (as crazy as this might sound)

Wish I had gotten a BLING baseball cap instead.... :(

I've asked George about this in the past and he said they don't leave the bezel protector on. I don't if that's just their policy. It seems like each AD is different.

It sounds like youre talking about the thin protective film to protect the crystal. I believe we're talking about the hard plastic piece that fits over the bezel.
