So then.....
Yesterday I was out and about and I just happened to walk past a Breitling AD, and what should I see in the window? The new Breitling Premier panda.
Now I didn't have time to go in and try it on, but I had a good look with my nose pressed up against the glass, and......
...... I can safely say after seeing one in the flesh I was too hasty saying it was "a bit dull".
To recap my original post, I said -
"They're all quite.....inoffensive. The twin register B01's are the clear standouts for me, but there's still something just a bit, well, dull about them. Kind of hard to put my finger on it, but they just don't excite me in some way. I certainly don't dislike them at all (especially the B01 variants), but they don't scream 'buy me!' either."I'm happy to say that, while my initial impressions were solely based on a few pictures, it looks
infinitely nicer in person. To be honest I can't think of another watch that has made a more different impression on me based on pictures compared to in real life. Next thing is to try one on, but on looks alone I'm prepared to eat a nice slice of humble pie and say I was wrong, and that it's actually a very nice looking piece.
So, this one's for you Fred!
