One for the boffins out there, I've been using slide rules for years & my airwolf's for over a year now, but does anyone know what the red marker at 36 is used to reference for?
cheers

Never used it but it is for calculating "miles per minute" - as there are 3600 seconds in an hour.

Used when calculating speed over a short distance.

QED.............

...................it's in the book!

You'll find a scanned copy on the site here:

I've got a spare practice one if you'd like it. Just PM me with your address and I'll stick it in the post. Then you can play to your hearts content without wearing your watch out!

Thanks for the download address, I've got it sorted now, just need to see if the miles per second is really useful to use or not.
cheers David
