Hello there, I have just registered and this is my first topic.

I have owned Breitlings for over 40 years and currently have a Navitimer 806 from 1973 - was a wedding present from my wife and I still have both. I also have an Aerospace Avantage. I have given my previous '98 Aerospace to my son-in-law and that is the reason for my contact.

I have just bought him a new leather strap - 22mm - and find that the watch has a 20mm lug width. Is this normal? All reference on this website quotes all Aerospaces as having a 22mm lug. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

Hi, welcome aboard. Yes the older Aerospace models had 20mm lugs, so that's quite normal. The newer Advantage models have 22mm lugs as the case size is a little larger (as I'm sure you already know).

Many thanks for rapid response and info.

I now have to change the strap. It is strange that the specs page on this site quotes 22mm for ALL Aerospaces.

Thanks again.

:)
